We help people identify whether they have a hearing loss, we campaign for change, we provide services and training, and we actively support scientific and technological research

We help people identify whether they have a hearing loss through our online hearing check and our telephone hearing check. We work to make daily life better for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Our campaigns, information, products, services and support of scientific and technological research are some of the ways we're trying to help. We also support other organisations in their aim to provide better services to their deaf and hard of hearing employees and customers.

So you're standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 feet or more. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go - falling forward into the clouds, diving down through the air as you start freefalling at over 120mph!

Then imagine the peace and quiet as the canopy opens, the steering toggles come down either side of you and you begin a tranquil parachute descent, steering yourself back down to the centre of the drop zone below.

You can do this! Join other likeminded skydivers and do a Charity Parachute Jump for Royal National Institute for the Deaf and enjoy this once in a lifetime UK Skydiving experience.
You can choose from three skydiving experiences, and if you hit your fundraising target you can jump for free!

Tandem Skydive

Tandem skydiving is a combined freefall and parachute descent where you are strapped to a professional parachute instructor - your freefall will reach exhilarating speeds of approximately 120 miles per hour.

We ask all participants to raise a sponsorship pledge of £395, and you get to do a tandem skydive for free. Of this £395, a £50 deposit must be paid on registration.

Registration: £50 (this is included as part of the pledged £395)
Sponsorship pledge target: £395

For your charity tandem skydive, you will be harnessed to a British Parachute Association instructor for your once-in-a-lifetime experience, you may also make a Static Line RAPS or AFF parachute descent.

Static Line Parachute Jump

A Static Line Parachute Jump is for those who want to jump solo and take the first step towards jumping regularly. This jump is called a static line jump because from the moment you step into the aircraft you will be securely attached to a "static line" which is designed to automatically open your parachute for you as you exit the aircraft.
We ask all participants to raise a minimum of £395, and you get to do a parachute jump for free. Of this £395, a £50 deposit must be paid on registration.

Accelerated Freefall Solo Skydive

If you're really adventurous why not take the first part of a professional skydivers course - also known as Accelerated Freefall (AFF Level 1 for short). You'll have a full day's ground training then jump with two qualified instructors before you skydive solo from 12,000 feet - just like the real thing!!!
We ask all participants to raise a minimum of £535, and you get to do a skydive for free. Of this £535, a £100 deposit must be paid on registration.

FUEL Surcharge

Due to the current fuel price increases (aviation fuel), several drop zones are now making a surcharge of up to £30 per person, should this be the case at your selected location the UK Skydive will contact you and advise you of this prior to processing your booking. If you choose to jump at a drop zone that has added a fuel surcharge then you will have to raise that extra amount in addition to the £395 minimum amount of sponsorship, eg if the drop zone you choose has added a fuel surcharge of £15 then you will need to raise a minimum of £410
