Take the YWCA challenge and experience the thrill of a lifetime.

YWCA is one of the leading charities working with girls and women from some of the most disadvantaged communities of England and Wales.
Young women face unique problems in today’s society: their voices are often ignored and they lack influence. We want a future where they can overcome prejudice, take charge of their own lives and fulfil their potential. They may face poverty, sexism, drug addiction, violence or racism. We run services to support them and campaign with them to combat the discrimination they face.
Too often girls and young women are invisible in policy made for young people, or women in general, and their needs are not met by mixed gender services.
If you dare to do something different this year, then YWCA has just the challenge for you – skydiving!
Tandem Parachute Jumps
Leaving the aircraft at 10,000ft you’ll reach speeds of 120mph (that’s as fast as a Golden Eagle diving for prey, by the way!.) You’ll experience the rush and buzz of freefall strapped to a professional and experienced parachute instructor. Your instructor will release the canopy at about 5000ft and you can either help them steer the parachute home or leave them to do it for you and ‘relax’!
